Jeans Hassel
Description:
This design is an updated version of classic straight-leg jeans, as the side seam slants inwards towards the shin, where there is also a small dart by the knee, which helps to create a trendy, barrel-like silhouette – though without it being too much. The waistband is curved and sits just below the navel.
The fit around the waist and hip is on the tight side, since it is expected that the denim fabric will stretch with wear. All inner seams are made as proper flat-felled seams, which ensures a very durable pair of jeans with a nice finish.

Recommended fabric:
Choose a medium weight durable denim between 10-13 oz (340-440 gsm). The denim can be without stretch or a moderate amount of stretch between 1-3%. If you use a very stretchy denim it could be an idea to size down.
The fabric can be made of natural fibers (e.g. cotton, viscose, linen etc.) or a mix between natural and synthetic fibers (polyester, nylon, elastane, lycra).
A general rule of thumb is: the higher the fabric weight (oz) the more sturdy the jeans.
Unsuitable fabric:
All jersey (knitted) fabric types as well as thin or delicate fabrics.
