This dress has a wide lapel collar, a button-down closure on the front, a slit and short sleeves. The dress is constructed with princess seams which makes it easier to adjust the pattern pieces if needed. The dress is semi-fitted.

Tightly woven fabric in medium weight with little or good drape. The fabric should be without stretch or just a little amount of stretch. The fabric can be made of natural fibers (e.g. cotton, viscose, silk, linen etc.) or synthetic fibers (e.g. polyester, nylon etc.). Recommended weaves include twill, satin, crepe etc.
