Bubble skirt Bregne

Description:

This stylish skirt is actually quite simple. The outer layer is constructed of 6 identical panels of fabric. In addition, the skirt is fully lined, while a hidden facing helps keep the waistband in place. The skirt closes with an invisible zipper at the side seam. 

Recommended fabric:

The fabric should be light- to medium weight and firmly woven with no stretch. Choose a fabric that can hold its structure so the bubble effect by the hem doesn't collapse. The fabric can be made of natural fibers (cotton, linen, silk, wool, modal, viscose etc.) or synthetic fibers (polyester, nylon etc.) or a mix. Recommended weaves include plain weave, twill, crepe etc. 

Choose a lining with a smooth surface. 

Unsuitable fabric:

All jersey (knitted) fabric types as well as heavy weight fabrics.
